In Mauritius, officials will turn off everything for 11 minutes by way of symbolic action against climate change. The Department of Public Service issued a circular asking them to turn off air conditioners, computers and all electrical appliances unless their use are needed. " We made a proposal along these lines because climate change affects all the world and we bring this action with a building block , "said Sadien Radhakrishna, President of the Government Services Employees Association.
