The snow caused five deaths in the northeastern United States

More than three million households have experienced blackouts'électricité, Sunday, Oct. 30, in the northeastern United States swept by a blizzard outstanding for October that disrupted transport and the fact least five dead.
The snow reached a record in western Massachusetts, with more than 70 cm, reported the National Weather Service. Nearly 50 cm also fell northwest of New York.

Throughout the region, rail and air traffic has been disrupted. Three people also died in road accidents due to ice.The other two deaths were directly caused by the storm.
